Giulio Lardera

Giulio Lardera is a freelance illustrator and motion designer born and based in Milan, Italy.

He has developed a multidisciplinary career that bridges static imagery and animation. Since entering the industry, his artistic research has focused on visual storytelling through a playful yet sophisticated lens, characterized by a soft, textured visual style and a harmonious, evocative color palette.

He collaborates with a variety of creative agencies and commercial clients, with his work appearing in projects for Valentino, Accenture Song, and LS Productions. Beyond the commercial world, he frequently applies his illustrative language to editorial and cultural initiatives, such as the literary magazine LEXIS. His talent has been widely recognized in the international illustration scene, leading to multiple awards at the Chen Bochui International Children’s Literature Award in Shanghai, and his selection for the prestigious The Children Spectators” exhibition at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair.
