Scotty Reifsnyder

Scotty Reifsnyder is an illustrator and designer based in Pennsylvania.

Since the beginning of his career, his artistic practice has focused on concept-driven illustration that blends storytelling, humor, and bold visual communication. His work is characterized by a distinctive, mid-century–influenced style, featuring textured color, expressive character design, and a playful, narrative sensibility. His illustrations often transform complex ideas into engaging, accessible imagery through a balance of wit and clarity.

He has collaborated with a wide range of editorial, publishing, and commercial clients, with his work appearing in outlets such as The New York Times, The New Yorker, Wired, and The Wall Street Journal, as well as in projects for brands including Mountain Dew and Disney/Pixar. In addition to his studio practice, he is an educator, teaching design and illustration at West Chester University and previously at institutions including the University of Pennsylvania and Tyler School of Art.

His work has been recognized by organizations such as American Illustration, Communication Arts, and Print Magazine, and is known for its ability to bridge traditional print influences with contemporary illustration in a voice that is both dynamic and enduring.
