Marco Brancato is a freelance illustrator and animator based in Bologna, Italy.
He graduated in Illustration and Traditional Animation from ISIA Urbino in 2015, following his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts. His artistic research moves between digital drawing and handcrafted experimentation, focusing on a symbolic and dreamlike visual language that explores the complexity of the human soul through dynamic compositions and refined textures.
Active in both the editorial and multimedia fields, he regularly collaborates with communication agencies, brands, and major international publications. Alongside his career as an illustrator, he has established a strong presence in the music industry as a director of animated music videos and creator of cover art for labels such as Maciste Dischi and bands like Mòn. His talent has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Gargano Film Fest, the That’s a Mole contest in Turin, and the Premio Ronzinante, confirming him as one of the most original voices in the new Italian illustration and independent animation scene.
