Benjamin Lowery

Benjamin Lowery is a painter, illustrator, and educator born in Wisconsin and currently based in Pennsylvania.

He graduated with a BA in Painting from the University of Dallas and earned his MFA in Painting from Indiana University. He furthered his artistic training through specialized programs at the Jerusalem Studio School and the Mount Gretna School of Art. Blending classical training with a modern narrative sensibility, his work as an educator has seen him serve as a professor at the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design and Earlham College.

As an illustrator and storyboard artist, he has collaborated with major entertainment and media clients, including Walt Disney Studios, CBS Studios, and the Independent Film Channel. His fine art paintings have been exhibited in solo and group shows across the United States, including The Painting Center in New York City, Manifest Gallery in Cincinnati, and various galleries in Dallas and Pennsylvania. His work has been featured in publications such as Dappled Things and recognized by Flavorwire as part of the best film poster designs of the year.
